Introduction to Business Continuity

 

This course is designed to inform individuals on how to consider ways and means to develop a business continuity framework within their working area to help promote more effective working arrangements.

 

The course is designed as an introduction to business continuity in order to develop a person’s knowledge, understanding and skills. It is therefore particularly suited to be delivered as a standalone course to individuals who manage workplace planning and risks, or as part of a wider managerial development course for persons within managerial or company governance positions. The material can also be used as a refresher for individuals and teams who have not received business continuity training for some time.

 

The course explores the topic of business continuity, risks to business and staff, conducting a business impact analysis within in the workplace, and the impact that this may have on performance, personnel and reputation.

Introduction To Developing Personal Resilience

 

This course is designed to introduce individuals to the subject of personal resilience and how to consider ways and means to develop it.  The course is created as an introduction to resilience in order to develop a person's knowledge, understanding and skills.  It is therefore particularly suited to be delivered as a standalone course to workforce personnel, or as part of a wider staff development course for persons in junior roles.

The course explores the topic of personal resilience, the issues and impact of pressure and stress in the workplace, conflict resolution and the development of support networks to help manage work / life pressures.

Staff Resilience in the Workplace Training

 

This course is designed to inform individuals on how to consider ways and means to develop the resilience of either themselves, or their personnel. The course is created as an introduction to personnel resilience in order to develop a person’s knowledge, understanding and skills. It is therefore particularly suited to be delivered as a standalone course to workforce personnel, or as part of a wider managerial development course for persons in junior and middle manager roles.

The course explores the social misuse of alcohol, conflict resolution, stress in the workplace and the implication of this onto the individual and the team. It also explores the issues behind the creation of workplace stress and the impact it can have on performance and personally. The course is based around the use of multi-media, discussions and practical events during the two day period to create an interactive learning environment which is delegate centric.

Alcohol and Substance Misuse in Young Adults

 

This course is designed to inform individuals on how to identify the possible misuse of drugs, alcohol or other substances within the young adult community.  The course is created as an introduct to support mechanisms and groups, the signs and implications of substance misuse, and the potential after effects, in order to develop a person's knowledge, understanding and awareness.

 

It is therefore particularly suited to be delivered as a standalone course to individuals working with or managing apprentices, apprentice workers and / or line managers of apprentice programmes. It may also be used as part of a wider awareness campaign for junior and middle managers.

 

The course explores the topics of drug, alcohol and substance misues, the issues that may lead to it, the implications on physical and mental wellbeing and how individuals can be supported to change their behaviour.  The course is one day long and is based on interactive sessions focussed on being delegate centric.

Train the Trainer Package

 

This course is designed to inform potential trainers on how to design, develop and deliver effective training focussed on their delegates. The course aims to introduce ways in how to develop events which capture audience attention and are learning focussed. During the course individuals will explore topics such as presentational skills, delegate engagement activities and communication skills.

 

It is therefore particularly suited to be delivered as a standalone course to individuals working with or managing learning events, invovled in training delivery or assessment of training and development events. It may also be used as part of a wider awareness campaign for junior and middle managers to build greater communication and engagement skills.

Introduction to Red Teaming For Business

 

This course is designed to inform individuals on how to use the art of Red Teaming to develop a safety culture and build better awareness of risks and issues. It can also be effectively used to test and evaluate a  business plan within their working area to help promote more effective working arrangements.

 

The course delivers an introduction to the methodology and tools to develop a person’s knowledge, understanding and skills. It aims to introduce the topic of Red Teaming, also known as War-gaming, and how it can improve the art of planning across all levels of business.  The course is particularly suited to be delivered as a standalone event to individuals who manage workplace planning and risks, or as part of a wider managerial development course for persons within managerial or company governance positions.

 

The sessions explores the topic of Red Teaming and how it can be used to assess risks to the business. By using the processes, team leaders can be more aware of the impact that risks and issues may have on performance, personnel and reputation and whether their current action plan can mitigate these events.

 

The material is based around the use of multi-media, discussions and practical events during the one-day period to create an interactive learning environment which is delegate centric.
