Where possible the presentations that we give, and videos of the event, will be posted here to enable all visitors to engage with our research and observations.

16 Oct 2023 - Resilience Association Annual Summit

SQUARED APPLES, working with the Resilience Association, aims to bring the next conference event for the resilience leaders and practitioner communities. The all day session aims to pull together individuals from across the globe to discuss the importance of developing resilience to prepare industry and business for a disrupted future landscape.

The speakers, a blend of senior business, intelligence and academic subject matter experts, will examine the need to be flexible in high intensity, complex environments which require complex decisions to be made in a very limited timeframe, and the importance of effective, timely and reliable communications to support this.

SQUARED APPLES will be hosting one of the Round Table events, supporting the Resilience Association's aim of building professional awareness and education events to enhance the level of knowledge across the global resilience community.

29 Sep 2021 - Resilience Association Webinar

SQUARED APPLES, working with the Resilience Association, aims to bring the next in a series of learning webinars to the resilience practitioner community. The session aims to pull together individuals from across the globe to discuss the importance of developing resilience through enhanced IT and cyber communications. 

The speakers will examine the need to be flexible in high intensity, complex environments which require complex decisions to be made in a very limited timeframe, and the importance of effective, timely and reliable communications to support this.

SQUARED APPLES will provide the chair for the event, supporting the Resilience Association's aim of building professional awareness and education events to enhance the level of knowledge across the resilience practitioner community.

03 Jul 2021 - Embedding Organisational Resilience

SQUARED APPLES was invited to deliver a session on embedding Organisational Resilience with the Associated Chambers of Commerce in India, supporting the development of awareness of the need to build better resilience within businesses and the wider economic environment.

Building organisational resilience is key in building a business that can learn, adapt and thrive in the disruptive and chaotic environment that we find ourselves in today. By embracing a learning culture, supported through an adaptive leadership framework, an organisation can achieve its vision and goals. Without organisational resilience, business leaders risks experiencing failure and collapse.

18/06/21 - Marcus Evans Group - Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Management In The Financial Sector

SQUARED APPLES MD Dr Aaron Gracey discussed the need to prepare for future large disruptive events. Focusing on the financial sector, firms are currently experiencing their first large-scale event since 2008. The pandemic has accelerated the pace of cultural change, as the majority of workers had no option but to work from home, therefore, exposing firms to higher levels of risk to their operational resilience framework.
