Learning Needs Analysis Support

At SQUARED APPLES our LDAs utilise a structured approach to determine the most effective learning solutions to address identified knowledge or skills gap caused by change.

The Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) process is a structured approach to identify the requirements needed to develop the most suitable learning solutions to address identified issues. By employing the LNA methodology, our LDAs ensure there is a clearly articulated audit trail from the initial problem statement, through to the identification of potential learning solutions.

SQUARED APPLES offers a range of specialist LNA services. Our LDAs have over 60 years combined experience in implementing the LNA process in the public and private sectors. This practitioner experience is underpinned by strong academic backgrounds up to and including Masters-level tuition in education, leadership and Change Management disciplines. SQUARED APPLES LDAs employ LNA techniques to develop solutions for hard and soft skills where training does not exist or where existing training are sub-optimal, with several LDAs having extensive experience in the application of the UK's Ministry of Defence DSAT (Defence Systems Approach to Training), and industry's ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) processes.

This knowledge and experience enable our LDAs to conduct everything from initial scoping exercises to a full LNA report. Our approach is to work in conjunction with your subject matter experts and leadership team, working in partnership to deliver the LNA process to meet your organisational requirements.  We can conduct a LNA as a standalone project, or as part of a wider change management or capability enhancement programme.
